Improving Mental Health: Free Meetings on Stress and Sleep

DALFSEN – OMMEN – Less stress and better sleep, how do you achieve that? On November 22 and January 22, Vitaal Vechtdal is organizing two free meetings about Stress and Sleep. These meetings focus on mental health. Good sleep and a good balance between stress and relaxation are an important part of health.

In addition to problems in daily life, chronic sleep deprivation and chronic stress increase the risk of heart rhythm disorders, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and obesity. Sometimes one small adjustment or tip can make a world of difference. These meetings are a first step to improving your health.

Stress and sleep

We all suffer from stress sometimes. That in itself is not a problem. Because that makes you alert and allows you to respond quickly. But too long and too much stress is unhealthy. You are tired, perhaps angry or quick to cry. It is no longer possible to relax and you keep thinking about your problems. Maybe even or especially at night. Worries, little relaxation, hormones that are not in balance, there are various reasons why you can’t sleep for a while or why ‘stress’ is getting in the way. Small adjustments or tips can sometimes help you experience the day more energetically.

Local cooperation

On Wednesday, November 22, Vitaal Vechtdal, in collaboration with Balans Physiotherapy, is organizing the Stress & Sleep (or not) meeting in Dalfsen. This free meeting is for residents and employees of the Vechtdal. The meeting consists of practical tips and exercises.
