President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has ensured that the vaccine for the COVID-19 booster is free. Emergency permits for 5 brands of booster vaccines have also been issued by the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
Quoted from a press release from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, on Tuesday (11/2/2022) yesterday, the priority of free booster vaccines is aimed at the elderly or the elderly and vulnerable or immunocompromized groups (BPJS PBI participants).
But basically, the booster vaccine is free for all citizens aged 18 years and over who have received a full dose of vaccination at least 6 months previously.

If you or your relatives are in the priority group for the COVID-19 vaccine booster vaccine, you can check tickets and vaccination schedules on the website and the PeduliLindung application. Tickets can be used at designated free booster vaccine locations.
Via the CareProtect web:
- Enter your full name, NIK, then check the vaccination status and COVID-19 test results
CareProtect Application:
- Open the CareProtect APP
- Log in with the registered account
- Click on ‘profile’ and select ‘vaccination status and COVID-19 test results’
- The booster vaccine status and schedule will appear in your account
- Check vaccine tickets through the ‘History and vaccine ticket’ menu
How do I register?
The trick, you can go directly to the health facility or the nearest free booster vaccine location by bringing your ID card and proof of vaccination doses 1 and 2.
