Granting of provisional authorizations to 4 concessionaires
On Monday, the Ministry of Industry announced in a statement that Minister Ferhat Ait Ali signed provisional authorizations for four (4) car dealers for the importation of new vehicles to Algeria.
“On the advice of the technical committee responsible for examining and monitoring files relating to the exercise of the activity of new vehicle dealers, the Minister of Industry, Ferhat Ait Ali Braham, proceeded to the signing of provisional authorizations for four dealers, ”the statement said, adding that the committee has notified the lifting of reservations for four other dealers.
According to the same source, he also notified an unfavorable opinion for two dealers having the possibility of presenting an appeal to the appeals committee within the regulatory deadlines, according to the same source.
The department of Ait Ali stressed that this first part of the files submitted to date will be followed by other files presented to the Committee, by order of arrival and according to the category of vehicles under which the request is made.
The same press release added that just as all files arriving at the Ministry of Industry will be treated, under the same rules and deadlines, as and when they are presented without any restriction other than compliance with laws and regulations.
The Ministry of Industry denounces certain parties that fuel a biased campaign

Through the same press release, the Ministry of Industry denounced “certain parties, both internal and external, with interests contrary to those of the national economy, and thwarted in their past approaches and future projections, are fueling a biased campaign through certain media with the vain aim of influencing the approach of the Ministry of Industry in the sense of an approach that does not comply with the regulations issued by the Public Authorities for this purpose ”.
“The parties who have not submitted a file on the portal provided for this purpose, and who nevertheless strive by invective and disinformation to sow doubt on the approach of the public authorities, and on the texts governing this activity, in order to make them more in conformity with their aims, must know, that in the future, any false information, knowingly distilled, will be the subject of the procedures, envisaged by the law for this purpose ”, concluded the press release.
