A road accident took place between two cars, this Monday, October 5, 2020, on the N137, at the interchange between Noyal-Châtillon-sur-Seiche and Chartres-de-Bretagne, in the direction Nantes–Rennes. According to the firefighters, called around 7:45 a.m., one of the two victims, in cardio respiratory arrest, and taken care of by the Smur, on site, died.
This is a 27-year-old man, who was driving alone in a rental vehicle. He collided with another car traveling in the same direction. In this vehicle, another victim, aged 30, was transported to the Saint-Grégoire Hospital Center.
Significant slowdowns
The accident caused significant slowdowns on this portion of the N137, already very busy at this time, in normal times. Traffic jams which also caused another accident, without seriousness, in the same place, involving a light vehicle, stuck between two trucks.
