IKEA opens a dispensing point in the former Interspar by the pool. Liberec residents can now order Company News Liberecká Drbna

The IKEA chain is in Liberec. Already on Friday, customers will be able to pick up the first shipments at a new dispensing point in the Albert department store in Liberec in Budyšínská Street in Liberec. You can order from Monday.

The IKEA department store in Prague’s Černý Most will supply the dispensing point in Liberec. “Through the new dispensing point in Liberec, we offer customers another opportunity to choose where and when they want to pick up their purchases. IKEA stores continue to be an important part of our business. It is a place where our customers can meet IKEA experts and use them to plan their homes, meet people and get inspiration, ” states Ivan Jančo, director of the IKEA Černý Most department store.

To pick up a shipment in Liberec, customers must use the Click and Pick up service. The dispensing point will be open three days a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2 pm to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm, and people will find it in the former Interspar hypermarket, now Albert in Bautzen Street.

“Compared to delivery directly to the apartment, customers pay significantly less for the service when using the service point. For example, when ordering a STRANDMON armchair, about half, for a kitchen over 200 kg, the customer saves up to three quarters on transport, ” adds Ivan Jančo.

The logistics company HRAL will operate the dispensing point. “We see the opening of a dispensing point in Liberec as a huge step towards even greater satisfaction of IKEA customers, and we are glad that we can be a key partner in this project. The main work, ie meeting customer expectations, is ahead of us and we are very much looking forward to it, ” states Aleš Hrdina, CEO of HRAL.

The first of the new dispensing points in the Czech Republic was opened by IKEA at the beginning of June in Hradec Králové. “The interest of customers in Hradec Králové has been great from the beginning, which we are very pleased about. We have even increased the capacity of the dispensing point and added a new opening day. We serve an average of 250 customers a week. I believe that the dispensing point in Liberec will be at least as successful, “ he says Petr Pokorný, IKEA Czech Republic Logistics Project Manager.

Another dispensing point will be opened by IKEA in Zlín. The first customers will be welcomed on August 28.
