Ikea has announced a batch recall of Huvudroll’s frozen meatballs. The reason is the risk of the presence of plastic elements in the product. Customers are asked to contact the sales network.

Ikea posted a product recall message on its website. “(…) one batch of Huvudroll frozen vegetable meatballs in 1000 g packages was contaminated with plastic elements from the damaged production line. For this reason, the products belonging to this batch are withdrawn from the market” – we read.

As donated, Huvudroll Frozen Vegetable Meatballs in 1000g Packs with an Use By Date 2022-10-26 can be returned at any Ikea store for a full refund. “Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required” – assured the representatives of the Ikea chain.

The recalled product has the barcode 1.704.877.95.0008 and the article number is 704.877.95. “Ikea apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this situation,” he added.
