Ikea: Austrians should rent Billy instead of buying it

The new Ikea managing director presents his plans for Austria. The focus is on a subscription system for furniture.

Vösendorf. Ikea does not see its future on the Internet. But the expansion of stationary sales is also not a priority for the Swedish furniture store in Germany. Rather, the new Ikea Austria managing director Alpaslan Deliloglu wants to make the Austrians a completely new way of dealing with their furniture: they should only rent it for a certain period of time.
