Krefeld/Viersen district/Mönchengladbach/Rhine district of Neuss. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Mittlerer Niederrhein is setting an example: on the occasion of Diversity Day on May 31, rainbow flags were hoisted at the three IHK locations. During Pride Month June, they are intended to draw attention to the diversity in the business and working world.
The Diversity Day is a nationwide day of action that calls for people to work for diversity and to create social awareness of diversity. It celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. “Diversity is a benefit for companies in many ways,” said IHK General Manager Jürgen Steinmetz, who hoisted the diversity flag at the IHK in Neuss. “With our campaign we want to show the flag for diversity in the companies in the Middle Lower Rhine.”
