IHEDN-Intern at the Department of Europe and International Affairs (F/M)

A national public establishment of an administrative nature, the Institute of Advanced National Defense Studies (IHEDN) is placed under the supervision of the Prime Minister and more particularly of the General Secretariat for Defense and National Security (SGDSN).

The Institute of Advanced National Defense Studies (IHEDN) prepares leaders, from all spheres of activity, to exercise the highest responsibilities by developing their understanding of defense and national security issues, their knowledge of associated public policies , their perception of the stakeholder games involved in their implementation, as well as their aptitude for strategic thinking.

The training provided as part of the national session aims in particular to enable all auditors to immediately understand the intersectoral, interdisciplinary, interministerial, but also European and international dimension of defense and security issues ( common ground).

The five specific majors (Armament and defense economics, Defense and economic security, Maritime issues and strategies, Defense policy, Digital sovereignty and cybersecurity) meet the need for in-depth auditors recruited according to their specific skills.

The IHEDN, working to build and disseminate a common defense culture, also participates in the creation of lasting links between senior public and private, civil and military officials, who get to know each other, as well as to think and act together.
