There was no such thing in Schnottwil in the last forty years: a fight for the municipal council. Candidates feel they belong to the FDP. Ursula Brüllhardt, the municipality’s vice-president, is not a citizen of Schnottwil. This has prompted the citizens of Schnottwil to port one of theirs. Ursula Brüllhardt waves it away. “That is no longer decisive today. Schnottwil used to be a majority of citizens. But Schnottwil has changed a lot. Many new families have found a home here. I experience Schnottwil as very open. For me, citizens and newcomers are worth the same amount.
