Children and pets
Last but not least, you should also think about children and animals. The cables in the wall directly arouse the desire to pull or bite them, animals can try to bite them. Then there is a serious danger, injury and, in the worst case, a fire.
Before the holidays, take out other appliances as well
Before going on vacation, you should also unplug all appliances. You will not need a washing machine, dishwasher or TV. Not only will you save money, but you will also significantly reduce the risk of fire. If you can’t shut down your appliances, get a surge protector. In the event of a thunderstorm, the devices could otherwise be seriously damaged, temporarily or permanently.
