If Russia bombards ports, Ukraine will go to plan “B”

Agricultural products will be exported by rail through Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.

Ukraine will supply agricultural products to foreign markets by alternative routes if Russia continues shelling of port infrastructure.

This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov in an interview with the Kyiv Post, posted on YouTube.

“We will switch to plan B” (in case of continued shelling of the port infrastructure – ed.), which has been in place all this time. That is, we will use the Danube ports, we will use the railway and load as much as possible,” the minister said.

“That is, we will use everything that is available. And trucks, we have done a lot for this,” Kubrakov said.

As UNIAN reported, on July 23 Russian troops attacked the port of Odessacruise missiles of the Caliber type. But President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Ukraine will start exporting grain despite a Russian missile attack on the port of Odessa.

On July 22 in Istanbul it was signed agreements to unblock three Ukrainian ports – “Odessa”, “Chernomorsk” and “Yuzhny” – for the export of grain and other agricultural products.

Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed separate identical agreements with the UN and Turkey. Control over the ports “Odessa”, “Chernomorsk” and “Yuzhny” remains entirely with the Ukrainian side.
