Union Home Minister Amit Shah has warned rioters that if the BJP comes to power in Bihar in 2025, they will be hanged upside down. Speaking at a rally in Bihar’s Nawada district, Shah claimed that riots have never occurred under a BJP government. He cited recent violence in Bihar’s Sasaram and Nalanda districts, apologizing for not being able to attend a programme celebrating the birth anniversary of Samrat Ashok in Sasaram. Shah said he had contacted the governor of Bihar after the violence and expressed concern about the law and order situation. He accused the Nitish Kumar government of failing to maintain law and order in the affected areas. Shah also confirmed that there would be no alliance with Kumar’s party JD-U in future, saying that the door for Kumar was closed forever.
“If BJP comes to power in 2025, rioters could face being hung upside down,” warns Amit Shah.
