Winner 2-0 at Amiens in one of the many late matches of Ligue Magnus on the program Friday, Angers dislodges from second place Nice, beaten for the fourth time in a row, at home against Briançon (3-1). Third success in a row for Grenoble, crazy match between Mulhouse and Cergy-Pontoise.

Angers, Rouen’s new runner-up. Winners 2-0 on the ice of Amiens, in one of the five late games of Ligue Magnus rescheduled this Friday evening, the Dukes took advantage of their fourth victory in a row to take second place in the standings with 29 points ahead of Nice , 26. While the Angevins, thanks to goals from Kévin Dusseau and Tommy Giroux, continued their superb series, the Eagles, they hit rock bottom by recording Friday at home against Besançon (3-1) their fourth loss in a row. Nice had however opened the scoring, by Knotek, against the last of the championship, but this did not cool the Red Devils, who reversed the trend on goals from Sodja, Berthon and Nattinen while the Briançonnais goalkeeper Patrick Munson, author 36 saves in this part, came out the big game on the Nice attempts. In Grenoble, during the derby in the Alps between Brûleurs-de-Loups and Gap (4-1), it was not until the very last minute (goals from Champagne and Kearney) to see the Isérois soar to the score. The fourth in the standings then led only 2-1.
Crazy match in Mulhouse!
Between Mulhouse and Cergy-Pontoise, on the other hand, the goals were not desired. The meeting between the 5th and the 9th gave rise to a festival and a very prolific match (10 goals in total) but also completely crazy which saw the two teams surrender before the last word returned to the visitors. Thanks to entry goals from Loizeau and Campbell, the Scorpions first led 2-0, before being knocked down after goals from Kestila, Lorcher and Kalter, then picking up themselves in turn, thanks to Lessard. During an equally crazy second period (no goal was scored in the last), the visitors then took the lead, by Schmitt, but not for long, Robichaud responding three minutes later. The score was then 4-4, and not to the liking of Dorey and Kestila, again, came to offer Cergy its second victory in a row at the expense of Mulhouse, who remained on three victories. What a game !
