The Spanish airline Iberia will resume its route Santo Domingo-Madrid a Starting July 3 with four weekly frequencies, according to the Consulate General of Spain in the Dominican Republic.
The institution made the announcement, through its official Twitter account, two days after the Dominican Government ratified last Wednesday that the reopening of the tourism sector remains “unchanged” for July 1.
The entity reminds its citizens that when they arrive in the DR they must fill out the health, migration and customs forms.
When disembarking they must carry a tag and their use will be compulsory in airport facilities. Temperature controls will be carried out.
“If you have more than 38 degrees Celsius or another symptom related to Covid-19, you will have a quick test and if you test positive, the corresponding protocol will be activated.”
In addition, it reiterates to its citizens to follow at all times the instructions of the airport authorities, migration and airlines.
It is recalled that, the Minister of Tourism, Francisco Javier García, he said, during the signing of the sanitary protocol with the Hoteliers Association (Asonahores), that the application of the measures guarantees a safe tourist activity in the country.
