The leader of “There is such a people Slavi Trifonov” again uses the social network Facebook to comment on the resigned Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and GERb. As BLIC wrote yesterday, Trifonov accused GERB of giving two press conferences in one day because it “hurts” them.

Three days are given for proposals between the first and second ballot. The law was adopted on October 26, 2016. After a Decree of President Plevneliev from the same day – October 26, 2016, the changes were promulgated in issue 85 of the State Gazette of October 28, 2016. And a week later under the newly adopted rules elections are being held! Sin, shame, sacrilege?

Desislava Atanasova from GERB claims that thanks to the “new barbarians” (among whom we are obviously from “There is such a people”) for the first time in one night a new Electoral Code was adopted and promulgated.

We remind Desislava Atanasova, who once described herself as the “heavy artillery of GERB”, that the amendments to the Electoral Code were adopted on April 29, 2021, and promulgated on May 1, 2021. Apparently Desislava Atanasova had a long night.

Yesterday, at GERB’s second press conference, Toma Bikov, who would have put Boyko Borissov in prison at the time, said the following: “We do not know what criteria the CEC members, whom the president will appoint at his own discretion, must meet.”

A new lie. We remind Toma Bikov to read that in Art. Article 50 of the Electoral Code contains the requirements for CEC members that have not been changed, so that the president does not have any authority to determine the requirements or CEC members himself.

Yesterday, at the first press conference of GERB, Boyko Borissov stated the following: “What does it mean to write” if possible “in a law? So, video surveillance will be available “if possible”. But who will determine this possibility, huh? By what criteria will you say – in this city and in this section there will be, in this – there will not be? By what criteria? Let’s see where my better results have been – there will be no video surveillance here. Let’s see where the weaker ones are – here, for example, they put video surveillance. “

Another lie. I do not know whether Borissov’s deputies slept, but the text in question “if possible” was dropped from the law. That is, Boyko Borissov is lying with something that is not in the final version of the Electoral Code. We remind you that video surveillance was abolished even if possible, but video recording and video broadcasting were accepted during the counting of votes in each of the sectional election commissions, including the district election commissions. In each one, not where a party has a weaker or better result.

Yesterday, Boyko Borissov tried to attribute his own sins to the new parties. He and Ekaterina Zaharieva announced that the voting machines were unprotected and were from Venezuela. And there was a dictatorship that killed protesters with snipers, and it was worrying for an EU country to buy voting machines right from Venezuela.

A small detail is that the voting machines were purchased by their CEC. 9600 machines for nearly BGN 40 million. Are they from Venezuela – say their CEC. Another very small detail is that before the last election, their CEC refused an independent audit of the voting machines in question on the grounds that the state institutions conducting the inspections were independent. So much for this manipulation and lie.
