Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Apparently not satisfied after buying Twitter, Elon Musk still wants to buy another company. Namely, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s (McD) are the targets of the Tesla boss.
Launching detik.com, Elon Musk’s wish was expressed within 48 hours after he officially bought Twitter. “After that I will buy Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in it,” Elon Musk said on his Twitter account, quoted Friday (29/4/2022).
It is not known whether Elon Musk’s words were serious or just a joke. However, Twitter netizens immediately commented on the tweet, some even liked the idea.
To quote Ladbible, cocaine’s relationship with Coca-Cola itself is related to the company’s history in the 1800s. When it was first launched, the coke consisted of cocaine and caffeine.
But it didn’t last long. Because in the 1900s the use of cocaine from coca leaves was finally eliminated from coca-cola.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk also said he would buy McD. He posted an old tweet about the idea of fixing the food company’s entire ice cream machine.
The SpaceX chief only wrote that he couldn’t work miracles. However, there was no further response from Elon Musk regarding this tweet, whether it included his desire to buy McDonald’s.
Elon Musk also mentioned that McD’s ice cream machine often breaks down. The topic has indeed become a common complaint of buyers.
Meanwhile, Twitter was finally officially purchased by Elon Musk for Rp. 634 trillion. In its announcement, the social media company’s shares were valued at US$54.20.
