I stayed naked for a whole week.. Here’s why (photos)

Georgette Coley, 36, spent a week naked, wearing a smartwatch to measure her heartbeat, and seeing the effect while she went about daily tasks.

She said: “I have always been healthy and my resting heart rate is 65 beats per minute (the normal range should be between 60 and 100 beats per minute). When I was naked, my heart rate was 55 beats per minute. Overall, A lower resting heart rate means improved heart health and fitness.”

“However, getting your heart to beat faster during exercise is important because it transports oxygen and blood to your muscles more efficiently, which burns more calories and helps lower cholesterol,” she added.

“I exercise four times a week and enjoy a balanced diet,” Coley continued. “So I was interested to see how my health could improve when I perform daily tasks without clothes.”

Although she lived with her two children and was surrounded by many neighbors, the woman did not care about the matter and decided to carry out this experiment.

According to the Harvard School of Public Health, sunlight reflecting off the skin improves bone health, strengthens the immune system, and may help fight cancer.

When Collie did housework during the cold weather, her heart rate reached 140 beats per minute, and it was 40 beats per minute higher when the woman did the same activity with clothes on.

As for sleeping, Cole was more comfortable sleeping naked than wearing clothes.

According to the National Sleep Foundation, a lower body temperature can help you fall asleep more easily, so taking off your clothes may be the solution.

One scientific study confirms that keeping the body naked without clothes improves physical and mental health, according to “The Sun” website.(lbci)
