In a lawsuit in the USA, it has been alleged that the Norwegian businesswoman Celina Midelfart (48) has had an affair with the late Jeffrey Epstein. Now she is retaliating.

The trial of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell (59), is currently underway. The trial began Monday in Manhattan, New York.
It was in this trial that Epstein’s former pilot, Dave Rodgers, explained about Epstein’s alleged relationship with several passengers on Epstein’s private jet, also known as the “Lolita Express”.
It has previously been known through Today’s business that Midelfart has appeared on these lists.
When asked by Rodgers in the courtroom if he was aware that Epstein had a romantic relationship with Celina Midelfart around 1996, he answered yes, reports Daily Mail.
VG submitted these allegations to Midelfart on Thursday.

– The claim is untrue. I’ve never had a relationship with or dated Epstein. I’ve never had a close relationship with Epstein. He was part of the circle of acquaintances around Donald Trump, of which it is known that I was also a part for a short period. I have not had anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein since 1997, she writes in an email.

Midelfart says she would like to leave the case uncommented, but she says that she chooses to answer and elaborate, because the allegations can not go unanswered.
– The fact is I was going to invest some funds in the US over 25 years ago. A Norwegian financial adviser, recommended Epstein, who at the time was a respected financial adviser in the renowned American brokerage house, Bear Sterns.
She says she over a shorter period of time had some funds placed by Bear Stearns, represented by Epstein.

A picture of the two together has also been taken, which VG is publishing today.
– The current picture of Epstein and me is from a charity tennis tournament organized by Michael Milken at Mara Lago, Trump’s estate in Palm Beach, about 25 years ago, she says:
– I attended the charity event as a guest of Donald Trump. The picture gives a completely wrong impression that I have had a close relationship with Epstein. I find the picture both despairing and stressful.

She adds that she has never met Ghislaine Maxwell.
– I react strongly to the fact that the defense team of Ghislaine Maxwell, constructs untrue theories that I should have had a close relationship with Epstein, presumably to divert attention from the very serious accusations against Maxwell.
