Hyundai Ioniq 6 is now also available in Romania. The newest electric model from Hyundai promises a range of over 600 kilometers.
Like many other automakers, Hyundai is turning its attention to electric cars. The Ioniq 5 has already consolidated its place in the market, being an award-winning and acclaimed car for its retro-futuristic design. Hyundai increases its range of models with the help of Ioniq 6, a model with a design closer to that of a fastback, being also the most aerodynamic model in the Korean manufacturer’s offer. The coefficient of 0.21 is the lowest in the Hyundai range and one of the lowest in the industry.
Its newest electric model, the Ioniq 6, has also arrived in Romania, and prices start at 63,141 euros including VAT. For the moment, customers in Romania have two versions of the Ioniq 6 available, with one or two electric motors.
The basic version, the one with a single electric motor, develops 229 HP and 350 Nm, with a declared autonomy of up to 614 kilometers on a single battery charge.

The Ioniq 6 can also be ordered in a configuration with two electric motors. Thus, the total power reaches 325 hp and 605 Nm, but there is also the advantage of all-wheel drive, since there is one engine mounted on each axle. As for autonomy, both versions use the same 77.4 kWh battery, and the one with all-wheel drive has a declared autonomy of 519 kilometers. Thanks to the 800V architecture, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in 18 minutes at a fast charging station.
The most affordable version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 starts in Romania from 63,141 euros. For the version with two electric motors, prices will start from 68,496 euros including VAT.
