Just Eat Takeway, the parent company of delivery service Thuisbezorgd, is talking to the American industry colleague Grubhub about a complete merger. Just Eat Takeaway announced this on Wednesday.
Earlier this year, the takeover of the British Just Eat by the Dutch Takeaway became final. This created one of the largest food delivery services in the world.
With the amalgamation of Takeaway and Just Eat, the company already covered Europe, with Grubhub also being spread its wings to the US.
According to the American business newspaper The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) is the Dutch company second choice, because Grubhub was already discussing a merger with Uber.
