Prime Minister Viktor Orban had issued a regulation that makes it possible to use corona vaccines not approved in the EU under certain conditions in Hungary.
Previously, Hungary had already bought two million doses of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V. The effect of both preparations has not yet been clearly proven.
With the orders for vaccines in China and Russia, Orban opposes the European Union and its bulk orders.
