It was lively in the stands during this year’s Wimbledon tournament, and two who certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves were Hugh Grant (61) and his Swedish wife Anna Eberstein (43). They watched the match excitedly, but still had time to joke and laugh together.
The children were not involved, which meant that the parents had each other’s full attention between sets.
Furious
“Notting Hill” star Hugh and TV producer Anna married in 2018, after many years as lovers and cohabitants.
Earlier this year, Hugh Grant read an accusation online that he had married “for practical reasons”. This infuriated the Hollywood star, and he threw himself over the keyboard and answered the accusation.
“It’s just not right. I married her because I love her,” he himself wrote on Twitter.

Tried it
The couple are keen members of an exclusive tennis club in London, and in June they traveled to Paris to catch the French Open.
The actor can easily benefit from picking up some good tips from the pros. In 2020, Grant made his debut in the Swedish championship for seniors, with mixed results. He won the first match in the tournament, but was regularly outclassed in the next. His most important supporter was of course Anna, who herself has been Swedish senior champion twice!
Later this summer, the couple will pack their bags and head for Sweden. Then there will be a beach holiday with little John in Skåne, where Anna and Hugh have renovated a large and beautiful summer house.
