Huawei P50 Pro reveals specs a day before premiere

The day before the premiere, the Huawei P50 Pro revealed its full specifications. The camera makes a great impression and it’s hard to expect a better photography smartphone on the market. The question is – does it still matter?

Before we move on to the main dish, namely the device, a few words about the equipment. Huawei P50 Pro This will work on the Jilin 9000, which is no particular surprise. However, the (minor) surprise is that we are talking about the 4G version, which may be important to someone, but certainly not (yet) in Poland. It will be accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, and 256 or 512 GB will be allocated for data.

The screen must be good. This is a 6.6-inch matrix, where the image is presented at a high resolution of 2700 x 1228 pixels. I seem to have creeped a typo here, as that would mean a 22:10 aspect ratio. I think it’s around 1448, but it will premiere tomorrow. 120Hz refresh rate is more important

When it comes to the battery, we are dealing with a relatively simple cell, for a flagship from 2021, a cell with a capacity of 4360 mAh. Underpowered can be recharged very quickly, as the Huawei P50 Pro supports charging 66W via cable and 50W wirelessly. This should translate into a charging time of around 30 minutes.

Huawei P50 Pro has a great camera

The specs aren’t overwhelming and there are more solid market leaders out there at (perhaps) much lower prices, but we all know it’s all about photos. The Huawei P50 Pro will finally offer four lenses. None of them can be called “stuffer”. It looks like this:

  • The main matrix resolution is a 50 megapixel, optically stable lens with f/1.8 light.
  • The wide angle is a 13 MP sensor and an f/2.2 lens. In my opinion, it will stand no chance against OnePlus and Oppo’s solutions.
  • The telephoto lens focuses at a very high 64MP resolution, and offers 3.5x optical and up to 100x digital zoom. It also has OIS.
  • All of them are powered by a 40MP monochrome lens. The task is to improve the details of the final image.

Of course, specs aren’t everything. If you want to see the design of the Huawei P50 Pro before the premiere, check out the text below. Inside you will find a video of this year’s Huawei flagship that appears live.
