Huawei MateBook 14 and 14s Coming Soon to Indonesia, Bring Quality Specs

After being officially launched for the Asia Pacific region, Huawei MateBook 14 and 14s will soon land in Indonesia in early December. A number of advantages offered by these two notebooks, one of which is a qualified specification.

Both the MateBook 14 and 14s offer a premium look. This laptop weighs approximately 1.43 kg with a thickness of 16.7 mm.

“The body is slim, comfortable to the touch,” said Edy Supartono, Training Director of Huawei CBG Indonesia during the MateBook 14 and 14s workshop session which was held online.

Both of these notebooks have a screen size of 14 inches. The difference is that the MateBook 14s has a touch screen with a 2.5K resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Unlike other Huawei laptops, the MateBook 14 and 14s carry a webcam at the top of the screen. Even so, the screen bezel itself is made thin.

Huawei capitalizes both laptops with the eleventh generation Intel Core i5 and i7 chipsets. To increase productivity, a 1.5mm high key travel keyboard is presented, which has an adjustable backlight.

The MateBook 14 and 14s are equipped with a 60Wh battery which is claimed to last 11 hours for standard use. For recharging, 90W fast charging support is provided.

“It’s enough to charge 15 minutes for 3 hours of use,” said Edy.

This laptop is provided with four speakers so that it will maximize the viewing experience. Then given a mic with AI Noise Cancellation so that it drowns out the surrounding noise.

Interestingly, users can install Huawei-optimized mobile apps through the AppGallery available on PCs via Mobile Apps Engine support. The good news is that the beta version of the PC AppGallery will be available for the first time in Indonesia.

Huawei MateBook 14s and MateBook 14 will be officially launched on December 8 in Indonesia and available for pre-order during the period 8-17 December 2021. Both products can be ordered online or offline.
