It is said that HP Moto X40 will be launched in the market soon. Obviously, the Moto X40 is very interesting for us to see, as are the HP specs. The general manager of Lenovo’s China Mobile Business Department, Chen Jin, also provided a leak regarding the arrival of the Moto X40 some time ago.
Chen Jin also confirmed the two main features that we will find on this latest mobile.
Several previous reports also said that this mobile would change its name to Motorola Edge 40 Pro in the global market.
Apart from that, the Moto X40 will also be using a new flagship platform i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This is obviously one of the reasons why we have to wait for this mobile.

Specifications for HP Moto X40
The Moto X40’s predecessor, the Moto Edge X30, officially became the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone in December 2021. Predictably, the Moto X40 will be one of the first phones to launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
This is obviously very interesting and makes us curious as to how it behaves when we use it.
In the specs that have been revealed, the Moto X40 has a 6.67-inch OLED screen. The screen has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels which is definitely capable of displaying sharp images.
The screen also uses Corning Gorilla Glass, so it’s definitely much safer from all scratches.
For its very dimensions, which is 161.3mm long, 73.9mm wide, 8.5mm thick and also weighs around 196g. The frame and back of the phone are made of plastic, which makes it lighter and more durable.
This phone also features drop resistance, dust resistance and water resistance up to a depth of 1.5m for 35 minutes.

Camera
The HP Moto X40 has 3 main cameras on the back i.e. 5OMP main camera, 50MP ultrawideand 12MP telephoto. The camera is also equipped with various features like HDR, panorama and also a dual LED flash.
With this, of course, you can take clear, sharp, high-resolution photos and videos.
Meanwhile, the front camera has a resolution of 60MP with additional HDR capabilities.
With this front facing camera, of course you can take selfies or make video calls in the best and stunning quality. You can also shoot videos in 1080p resolution.

This mobile uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which has good temperature control capabilities. Meanwhile, there are 4 storage options, namely 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB and 18/512GB.
The numerous choices are definitely an advantage in itself, because you can choose which storage space suits your needs.
Meanwhile, the battery has a capacity of 5000mAh with support for 68W fast charging. The battery capacity is obviously able to last for the whole day even if the mobile is used for various needs.
