Sometimes you will quote from a chapter in a book that contains text by multiple authors – for example, compilation of essays. In this case, you should cite the relevant chapter rather than the entire book. Here’s the format:
1. First name author last name, “Chapter Title,” in Book title , ed. Editor’s first name Last name (Place of publication: Publisher, year), page number.
2. Author’s last name, “Abbreviated Chapter Title,” page number.
Example:
3. Bob Stewart, “Wag of the Tail: Reflecting on Pet Ownership,” dalam Enriching Our Lives with Animals , ed. John Jaimeson (Toronto: Petlove Press, 2007), 87.
4. Stewart, “Wag of the Tail,” 88.
