How to Undo Twitter Messages, Can Pull Tweets Before 5 Seconds

Suara.com – Twitter has again introduced its newest feature, this time social media with the bird logo in blue is testing the “Undo” feature for each message uploaded. So, how do you undo messages on Twitter?

This latest feature allows Twitter users to retrieve messages sent before 5 seconds have passed. The message undo was discovered by an app developer named Jane Manchun Wong. Jane is known to have a solid track record when it comes to discovering new features on social networks.

One of the ideas for developing this feature is the unrest that users often feel. Not a few of Twitter users have complained about the need for an “Edit” option for tweets or messages that they have already sent.

Although Twitter does not completely provide new features in the form of Edit at least as is Twitter’s Undo feature has tried listening to the aspirations of its users. The existence of this new feature can make it easier for users to fix messages that have been sent before they are read by the public.

  • Click the “Send” button, after which a notification will appear that says “Your Tweet was sent” and a “Undo” option below it.
  • The “Undo” option will be available for 5 seconds after the message has been sent, enough time to rethink the tweet before it is sent.

This new Twitter feature is almost the same as the one in Gmail, it’s just that Gmail provides a lag time of up to 30 seconds while Twitter is only 5 seconds.

Twitter seems to have planned this feature development since a year ago. They told investors that they were considering providing subscription services and providing several exclusive options for paid users including the “Undo” feature.

However, for now, these subscription features are likely to be tested in public. Even so, the “Undo” feature may not be in the final version yet.

Of course, this new breakthrough from Twitter has been eagerly awaited by its users, but for those of you who want to try using it, please be patient because this feature is not yet fully available.
