How to See Who is Connected to Your iPhone Hotspot: Easy Guide and Tips

Although under normal circumstances, I rarely share WiFi with strangers, even if I have unlimited data, I will not do so. But sometimes it may be clear that I have nothing to share with others, but if someone maliciously connects and I don’t know who is connected, I should take immediate action. Is there any way to check which hotspot is connected to your mobile phone? This article is waiting for me to teach you.

By opening the Control Center, you can see how many devices are connected to your mobile hotspot. Just enter the Control Center and long press the “Mobile Data” switch. Then, under the “Personal Hotspot” icon, you will see how many devices are connected to your mobile hotspot. How many people are connected to your mobile hotspot. Unfortunately, by default, you have no way of knowing which system is connected to your WiFi. For example, if you turn on a personal hotspot, which requires you and your significant other to use your WiFi, normally only “2” will be displayed, but if 3, 4 or more are suddenly displayed, you will need to use a third-party application. Check.

One app to view all devices connected to your mobile network

You can go to the App Store and download an application called Network Analyzer. This application is a free network application tool. You can use it to view which devices are connected to your iPhone hotspot. It will list the MAC of the devices. Address, IP address and name.

001: Open the App Store and search Network Analyzer

002: Click “Get” and wait for installation.

003: Open Network Analyzer.

004: Click LAN on the bottom menu.

005: Select Scan in the upper right corner (if you have WiFi turned on, please turn it off, otherwise your WiFi connection will also be displayed).

006: Waiting for the scan to complete.

After that, you can see all the hotspots connected to your iPhone. Of course, this application cannot help you disconnect the “suspicious device”, but it can help you confirm your suspicions. If in doubt, the next thing you should do is change your iPhone WiFi hotspot password, which will disconnect all devices.
