(Newcastle – Manchester City 0–2) There are some real big matches in the FA Cup semi-finals. Arsenal face Manchester City, while Manchester United face Chelsea.
It became clear when Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer completed the semi-final draw during the break between Newcastle and Manchester City.
Manchester United were drawn against Chelsea in the semi-final number one. Arsenal were drawn against the winner of the settlement between Newcastle and Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s men had little trouble securing the fourth and final semi-final ticket. Scores from birthday child Kevin De Bruyne (turning 29 today) and Raheem Sterling provided a comfortable advancement for Manchester City.

In the second semi-finals, there is the stage for the season’s third meeting between Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Frank Lampard. The United manager has won three of three against Chelsea this season, who are still ahead of Manchester United on the table in a bidding match for Champions League games next season.

Manchester United opened the season with a 4-0 victory over Chelsea at home to Old Trafford. Then there was a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in the fourth round of the league cup, before another league victory in February (2-0).
Chelsea secured the semi-final ticket with a 1-0 victory over Leicester earlier Sunday. Manchester United moved on after a dramatic 2-1 win against Premier League table jumble Norwich on Saturday night.
The semi-finals will be played at Wembley on July 18 and 19. The final is set for August 1st.
