You can freeze or lock only the first row or column or only the column / row you want, the method is as follows.
Freezing the first column
- Select Tap Show
- Select the Freeze Panel Tab
- Next select Freeze First Column.
Then automatically the first column will be locked when you scroll the work area.
To see if it’s been locked a faint line will appear between Columns A and B showing that the first column is frozen.
