How to pick up a cape?
The migration process itself is very simple. It is worth mentioning, however, that “shared” accounts will not be able to do so. It is very possible that Microsoft will completely cut down the possibility of sharing accounts between several hundred players. It is mainly about accounts from auction sites. You will need the full paid version of the game to redeem the cape.
To start migration, you should:
- Go to the Minecraft.net website
- Enter the migration notification
- Log in with your Microsoft account, or create a new one
- Create an Xbox account
- Confirm migration
Can this be done at this point? Not yet. According to the developers, the “migration notification” will appear either at the end of 2020 or at the beginning of 2021. This means that only then will the cape be available for collection.
