GenPI.co – The current covid-19 virus outbreak has made masks a special need. Moreover, for those of you who often leave the house, it is important to maintain your health by using a mask.
Cloth masks are highly recommended and can be used repeatedly. The government also recommended that medical masks not be purchased and worn because there were still many officers who needed them.

Reporting from the TIME page, an infectious disease expert from the University of New South Wales, Raina MacIntyre said the more layers, the better.
MacIntyre and his team suggest wearing a three-layer mask. The lining near the mouth should use a soft cloth or cotton. The outer layer must be waterproof or with a polyester material.
“Just take a piece of cloth and drop water on it, then see what happens. If it soaks in, the cloth is not suitable as the outer layer of a mask because it cannot hold water particles that may carry the virus,” said MacIntyre.

The size of the mask that must be considered is the mouth and nose. He also recommends using a wide mask to cover all areas of the mouth and nose.
