Canal + digital platform from December 10 last year. implements the graphyne3 system from ADB on 4K UltraBox + satellite set-top boxes, a world-famous supplier, incl. decoders and software from Zielona Góra. The new soft is being introduced gradually. According to the magazine “SAT Kurier”, this time it will go to users of the ADB NCP-3670SF (JADA) model. Technicolor USW4001NCP (ITCA) decoder owners have to wait a few more weeks. – The software will soon be available for other groups of subscribers – announces Canal +.
What changes to the software?
One of the main advantages of the new software is the possibility of withdrawing programs up to 8 hours (catch up TV). – Now, after connecting the set-top box to the Internet, it will be possible to access programs, series and movies at any time. All you need to do is select MENU on the remote control to find the best program suggestions for you – announces the operator.
After updating 4K Ultrabox + set-top boxes, users will also be able to create a list of favorite channels with their own numbering. In the new software, which resembles the French TV platform Canal +, the TV service, the bill with payment information will be moved to the Applications tab. The channel view has also been modified. Its name and number will now be displayed in the center. Additionally, pay video on demand (VoD) is expected to be easier to use. It will also be easier to change the decoder settings. In the event of loss of the satellite signal (for example during a storm or snowstorm), it will be possible to receive them via the Internet.

In 2020, Canal + had the operator had PLN 2.37 million of direct customers (0.3% more than a year earlier), i.e. using the Canal + platform, telecommunications offer, VoD services and its packages on the Player platform belonging to TVN Discovery Group.
