Trainers have the opportunity to catch various third-generation Pokémon during the Hoenn Collection Challenge in Pokémon Go, as part of the tour de Pokémon Go: Kanto. Of the nine Pokémon that you must collect during the challenge, Plusle and Minun are two of the most difficult to catch.
In addition to finding Electric-type Pokémon in the wild, you can find them after completing a Field Research task. Go to a PokéStop and turn it to get the “Catch 11 Pokémon” task. After completing the task, you will receive an encounter with a Plusle or a Minun.
If you don’t complete the task on the first try, go to another PokéStop, because the Field Research Task you get is random. Repeat the process to try to get both Plusle and Minun. Once you have them, hunt down the remaining Pokémon from Hoenn’s Collection Challenge.
You can check out all the field and special research tasks to find out how to get all the Pokémon on the list and complete the Hoenn Collection Challenge. Players will have to catch Pokémon like beginner Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, and other third-generation Pokémon like Nincada, Nosepass, and Aron.
You have until January 24 to complete the challenge.
