Specialists of the combined unit of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Black Sea Fleet of the Southern Military District arrived in Abkhazia to help combat the coronavirus on April 18. They processed objects and roads in Gulrypsh, Tkuarchal, Ochamchyrsky, Galsky and Gudautsky regions, as well as in Sukhum.
The total processing area is more than 200 thousand square meters.
In the course of the work, the Russian military involved 13 units of special vehicles of radiation, chemical, and biological protection — mobile aerosol disinfection complexes, auto-filling stations, and cars with a hot fog generator. After disinfection, the equipment undergoes special processing.
Specialists of the combined unit of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Black Sea Fleet of the Southern Military District carry out the disinfection of medical facilities, retail space and administrative facilities in Abkhazia.
