How selfish can you be? Kyrgios was upset by the dancing Zverev video

German tennis player Alexander Zverev has received further criticism from Australian rival Nick Kyrgios for not following safety recommendations against the spread of coronavirus.

At a time when, according to his own statement, he was supposed to be isolated after the start of the Adria Tour, a video appeared on social networks in which the seventh player in the world rankings dances in a busy club.

The recording, which was placed on his instagram by German fashion designer Philipp Plein, was immediately removed. It was not clear from the video when and where it was shot. Zverev publicly apologized last week for participating in the Adria Tour and accompanying events, after which four tennis players tested positive for the coronavirus. He has not commented on the video yet.

“If you have the courage to post a tweet written for you by your management that you will isolate yourself for two weeks and apologize to the public for your health, you should also have the courage to stay home for those two weeks,” Kyrgios wrote on the instragram. “How selfish can you be?” he added.

The Australian tennis player was one of the loudest critics of the Balkan tournament series Adria Tour. He is also dissatisfied with the ATP’s plans to resume the season.
