Medicine is the carrera with the best average monthly salary in 15 states of Mexico.
According to data from Labor Observatory of Mexico, San Luis Potosí is the state where doctors have the best average income per month, with 34,020 pesos.
In contrast, the State of Mexico is the entity where there is the worst average monthly salary for graduates of the Medicine career, as they barely earn 11,312 pesos.
The states in which Medicine is the highest paid career are: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Colima, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Yucatán and Zacatecas.

In all of Mexico there are 147 thousand 224 students enrolled in the Medicine career, of which 17 thousand 340 graduated.
39.7 percent of the professionals who studied Medicine work in the central region of the country, that is, four out of every ten.
48.3 percent work in the private sector and 73.2 percent are subordinate and paid workers.
Nine out of ten people who study Medicine have a job according to their studies.
