Probably everyone knows that very well Epic Games in his shop Epic Games Store regularly distributes various free games that anyone can pick up and keep forever.
Published documents on the lawsuit Epic vs. Applewhich started yesterday, then revealed new interesting information about how much Epic paid for these individual games and how many copies were collected in total, in the period from December 2018 to September 2019.
As we can see, Warner Bros., for whom Epic for theirs, came up with the largest amount Batman Arkham sérii paid $ 1.5 million (CZK 32.181 million), with 6,448,904 copies collected.
They are then followed by authors from Unknown Worlds, who were behind them Subnautico USD 1.4 million (CZK 30.037 million) was paid and 4,634,825 copies were collected.
In addition, we can notice that the other amounts were certainly not too dizzying, for example, for Super Meat Boy $ 50,000 (CZK 1.072 million) was paid from Team Meat.

In the same document, we can still find that Epic prepaid a total of US $ 115 million (CZK 2.472 billion) purely for PC exclusivity for Borderlands 3, with the game earning $ 77 million (CZK 1.652 billion) in net EGS in the first two weeks, of which Epic earned $ 9.2 million ($ 197 million).
If we subsequently talked about the overall agreement, which also included Civilization and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, it is already a payment of 146 million USD (3.138 billion CZK).

If we then move on to the next document, we will find that in 2018 and 2019 it was the most profitable article of the company. Fortnite, which during them generated total revenues around 9 miliard USD (CZK 193 billion).
For comparison, numbers from all other games (including the Rocket League since 2019), which together generated $ 108 million (CZK 2.317 billion) during this time, while Unreal Engine totals $ 221 million (CZK 4.741 billion). Revenue from the Epic Games Store alone was $ 235 million (CZK 5.043 billion).
