Microsoft recently reported about the price increase for the Xbox Live Gold subscription. A subscription to this service is required to access multiplayer in games. The decision was met with little enthusiasm from the players. Microsoft is very fast refused from the price hike for Xbox Live Gold. Also, access to shareware online games no longer requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
