Although the hardware specifications and the controller of the PS5 called DualSense have already been presented, what the console will look like and what games can be expected in the launch time window, it is still in the stars. Recently, the rumor persisted that Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning a large-scale online event to reveal the PS5 that will take place in June.

The well-known video game journalist and Jason Schreier, who is considered a reliable insider, is currently causing fresh speculations in this direction. As Schreier explained in the current “Press Start Podcast”, the said online event is to take place either in early or mid-June. Even if it were conceivable that the corona crisis would lead to delays, Sony Interactive Entertainment is currently on schedule, Schreier continues.

Schreier’s statements coincide with those of Jeffrey Grubb of “GamesBeat”. As Grubb recently noted, the PS5 will be unveiled on June 4, 2020. Games that appear for Sony’s new generation console, however, could be seen earlier, Grubb explained.
