Hovland major player in the US – fights in the lead

Golf profile Viktor Hovland went a solid third round in the Connecticut PGA Tournament on Saturday and is in attack position ahead of Sunday’s finish.

Hovland has played well throughout the tournament and continued in the same style on Saturday. The Oslo boy went three strokes under par and is 11 strokes under par after three out of four rounds.

It held to the 12th place after everyone finished Saturday’s game.

Leading the tournament is American Brendon Todd. He is a total of 18 strokes under par after a brilliant third round nine strokes under par.

Countryman Dustin Johnson matched Todd with a round of nine strokes under par and is in second place before the tournament concludes on Sunday.

Hovland started the third round brilliantly with three birdies on the first six holes. A bogey in the same period ruined something, but with good and even play, the Norwegian golf profile still climbed the charts.

On hole 13 came a new birdie, and besides it he completed the round with eleven pairs.
