Three trucks collided with each other on the A2 highway near Born this morning. As a result, two lanes in the direction of Maastricht are closed.

This created a traffic jam of about eight kilometers. A spokesperson for Rijkswaterstaat says that the cleanup work will take at least three hours. “There is a lot of asphalt damage and a lot of oil on the road surface. Two trucks have to be salvaged and one can drive off independently.”
Traffic can use the left lane. According to the ANWB, the delay is more than an hour and a half.
