Lena Borislavova spoke publicly about her relationship with Kiril Petkov.
“I want to emphasize very clearly that my relations with Mr. Kiril Petkov are professional. Also, of course, good acquaintances and friends, because I have known him for several years. For me, there is no big bombshell or conflict of interest from this video,” said the retired cabinet spokesman and Petkov’s chief of staff in an interview with Miroljuba Benatova. It was broadcast in the “Questions” program on TV 1 on Friday evening, “Flagman” broadcasts. This is how Borislavova answered the question of whether she is worried about the video filmed last year, which shows her and Kiril Petkov entering an apartment.
“There is no need to comment on this issue. If he wants, let Mr. Geshev investigate – he clearly took up this case, with a so-called conflict of interest,” added Borislavova.
She expressed indignation at the rumors that the jeep killer Georgi Semerdzhiev delivered drugs to her in the Council of Ministers building and categorically stated that this time she would file a lawsuit against the media that circulated the story.
“What is extremely disgusting are the suggestions – another absurdity that I ordered drugs from Georgi Semerdzhiev, who was coming to the Council of Ministers. This is so ridiculous! It is hard for me to believe that someone can commit to such something. But I’m clearly underestimating the situation and maybe it’s time to file a lawsuit for defamation and to hold the persons who circulate such nonsense to court,” added Borislavova.
When asked by the presenter if she thinks that NSO employees are feeding yellow media with videos and information, Lena said: “In particular, we have full confidence in this NSO team that was with us in Greece. But I want to say something else – at the moment, in which I walked on some sidewalk, videos and photos of me are taken by ordinary people, who then send them to the yellow media. And then incredible scenarios develop.”
