China – On Thursday, November 23, Honor will announce the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro series smartphones in the Chinese market.
Before the launch, the specifications, configurations and prices of the two smartphones have appeared on Weibo. Here is everything known about the Honor 100 duo:
Reporting from Gizmochina, Tuesday, November 21, 2203, according to the leak, the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro will have a curved OLED panel measuring 6.78 inches. As revealed by the official renders, the standard model will have a single punch-hole cutout, while the Pro edition will have a pill-shaped cutout for the dual selfie camera system.
The Honor 100’s camera setup will include a 50-megapixel IMX816 sensor on the front and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel IMX906 primary rear sensor along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
On the other hand, the Honor 100 Pro’s dual selfie camera system will consist of a 50-megapixel IMX816 primary camera and a 32-megapixel sensor, which appears to be an ultra-wide lens. The rear camera configuration will include a 50-megapixel IMX906 main camera with OIS assistance, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens.
The Honor 100 series will run on Android 14 with a Magic OS UI layer on top. Both phones are said to pack a 5,450mAh battery with 100W fast charging capability. Both devices will have other common features, such as a plastic frame, dual speakers, NFC, IR blaster, and X-axis linear motor.
In terms of performance, the Honor 100 will feature the recently launched Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the Honor 100 Pro will pack a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Honor 100 series will ship with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512 GB storage.
Leaked pricing information suggests that both models will be available in three variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The Honor 100 variant is expected to be priced at 2799 Yuan to 3399 Yuan or the equivalent of IDR 6 million – IDR 7.3 million. Meanwhile, the Honor 100 Pro model will probably be priced at 3699 Yuan to 4299 Yuan or the equivalent of IDR 7.9 million – IDR 9.2 million.
