On August 8, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Macau Port cross-border cargo transfer station was opened. Afterwards, Hong Kong trucks can deliver goods from Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to the Macau Port Transit Station, and at the same time transport goods from Macau to Hong Kong back to Hong Kong; and Macau trucks can go to the Hong Kong International Airport after arriving in Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The goods will be delivered by logistics facilities in Hong Kong, and the goods exported from Hong Kong to Macau can be transported back to Macau at the same time. The industry can transport goods between Hong Kong and Macau more conveniently. In addition to facilitating the exchange of goods in various industries in Hong Kong, it will also benefit the people of Hong Kong, allowing goods from the two places to be delivered to them more easily and quickly. In addition, the Macao trucks will use the logistics facilities of the Hong Kong International Airport, thereby expanding the customer network of the logistics facilities.
The Hong Kong SAR government stated that it expects to continue to maintain close cooperation with the Macau SAR government to further promote the development of logistics business and economic and trade exchanges between Hong Kong and Macau. While promoting exchanges between the two places, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will also play its greatest role.
