The Department of Health announced today (2nd) that there have been 4,709 new confirmed cases in Hong Kong, including 430 imported cases, and another 8 patients have died.
Today, 4 residential homes have recorded confirmed cases, including 5 residents who have been infected and 21 residents have been classified as close contacts.
In terms of school cases, today 197 schools reported a total of 243 confirmed cases, including 180 students and 63 employees, and a total of 14 schools had to suspend individual classes.
As of 00:00 on November 2, the Public Health Laboratory Service of the Department of Health has detected a total of 204 cases of XBB, six cases of XBD, eight cases of BA.2.75.2, seven cases of BA. 4.6, and 11 cases of BF.7 and 24 cases of underlines of BQ.1.1 and a total of 4 cases of XBB, 8 cases of XBD, 1 case of BA.2.75.2 and 10 cases of underlines of BQ.1.1 are been detected in local cases.
