Brussels – The agreement that Minister Hoekstra (Finance) concluded on Thursday evening in the Eurogroup was a compromise in which he nevertheless achieved a lot. There will be no Eurobonds and he also got a lot of his way with regard to the use of the European emergency fund ESM. But there are also loose ends. The discussion about sharing debt together may have been averted: it will certainly come back. And fast too.
