RADARDEPOK.COM – The number of HIV/AIDS survivors in Depok City, which reached 1,244, deserves special attention from all lines. Moreover, data from the Aids Prevention Commission (KPA) may not cover the whole thing, because there are survivors who still cover up the virus.

The head of the PDI-P faction at the Depok City DPRD, Ikravany Hilman, emphasized that at this time we must dare to innovate and educate through the world of education. Good education about sex, narcotics, and others that become the transmission of HIV/AIDS.

“My advice is that the world of education must be educated, go to school, educate students about the dangers of sex and provide correct sex knowledge,” he explained to Radar Depok, Wednesday (24/11).

However, said Ikra, good and correct sex education is still very taboo in society. Not a few of these things become views when justify free sex. In fact, the meaning is not in that direction, but rather the anticipation through sex knowledge so that this insight is understood from an early age. “I’m afraid so yes, it is said to allow free sex. Even though that’s not it, this is for me to prevent. If you know the bad effects of free sex from an early age, you will be more careful,” said Ikra.

The PDI P politician added that the highest number of additions was from same-sex relationships. So that it is natural to do sex education that is good and right. This is to prevent the wrong sex from spreading.

He also said that the figures recorded in the KPA were not comprehensive, because there were survivors who were still reluctant to admit that they had been exposed to the HIV/AIDS virus. Therefore, an approach that is more confident in the survivors must be carried out. This is to dare to confess and together to release this virus, through every program that has been running for the treatment of HIV/AIDS.

“I’m not saying the data is wrong, it’s true but not all. Because there are survivors who don’t want to admit it, it’s difficult to know the whole thing,” explained Ikra.

Previously, the Head of the Depok City KPA, Khaerudi, admitted that the numbers recorded by his party were not complete because many survivors were embarrassed to admit that they were exposed.

So that this is what KPA and other components are intensively doing to socialize if the HIV/AIDS virus is not a disgrace that must be covered up. “Yes, yes, we are sure there are still people out there who have not been registered with us. That’s because, we also have difficulty finding out, because the person concerned is difficult to confess,” he said.

In fact, he explained, there was a healing program until elections were carried out by various parties so that the survivors could be freed from this virus. First, by regular monitoring, administering medication, to productive training that can increase the survivor’s confidence. “So together, we will overcome and prevent this. Everyone has a role to play together in dealing with HIV/AIDS,” said Khaerudin. (arn/rd)
