HILVARENBEEK – Regular visitors to Safaripark Beekse Bergen immediately noticed the reopening last week: the 24-year-old blind gorilla M’bewe was missing on the male gorilla island. The park had to decide to put the western lowland gorilla to sleep because of health problems. That happened on May 7, after which his three brothers were left behind.
